Nestled in a charming residential area, the Auberge offers a unique blend of history and comfort with its quaint character dating back to 1780. The warm hospitality from Diane and Mario makes you feel right at home. The apartment was tastefully decorated, equipped with all essential amenities, and had a serene sitting area to unwind after a day of exploring the nearby Iles of Orleans and Park Montmorency. While the views of the river and surrounding gardens are delightful, and the homemade breakfast is a lovely touch, the overall experience left me wanting a bit more polish. Despite its charming setting and friendly hosts, one must consider the value compared to what's offered. With room features like free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and air conditioning, it meets basic expectations. Additional services like guided tours and organized activities could elevate the overall experience into something truly extraordinary. If your goal is a cozy, character-filled stay, the Auberge is certainly appealing. Just be mindful of your budget - it can lean towards the luxurious side without necessarily delivering all that one might anticipate from a higher price point.
